Bumble has the advantage on this one.
While there are some solid 8s and 9s on CMB, Bumble has a lot more.
Better for Hookups
Bumble is better for hookups.
While the app tries to steer away from Tinder as a relationship alternative, hookups are still pretty common.
Better for Relationships
Not to say hookups can’t happen, Coffee Meets Bagel is built more for relationships.
Profiles
Both apps have a lot of information to fill out for a profile.
This includes a bio, pictures, and information about school, politics & religion.
Ease of Use
Both apps are really easy to use. Both use a yes or no system for profiles. Bumble you swipe right or left. CMB you press the heart or x.
Coffee Meets Bagel limits the amount of profiles it shows you each day.
Bumble on the other hand allows you to swipe on an unlimited amount of profiles.
Messaging
On Bumble, girls message first. They have 24 hours to do so, or the match will expire.
On CMB anyone can message after they match.
CMB conversations expire after 7 days, where as with Bumble, they last forever until someone unmatches or deletes their profile.
Paid Options
CMB uses beans as in app currency. This will allow you to unlock more profiles to swipe on, like profiles found under the discovery section, extend conversations and skip the line for girls you liked.
Bumble has multiple in app purchases available.
They can allow you to be in the spotlight, superswipe, view profiles of who liked you, and restore expired conversations.
Final Thoughts
I personally like Bumble better. I think its built better & the quality of the girls on the app are better.
If you are looking strictly for a relationship, then CMB is going to be your best bet,
