And it’s not pleasant.
So let’s find out if you’re shadowbanned & how you can fix it.
WHAT IS A SHADOWBAN ON TINDER
A shadowban is when Tinder limits your capabilities to use the app without alerting you.
The following are all possible symptoms that come with a shadowban.
- A limit on the number of girls in your swipe deck
- Stop messages from sending
- Hide Your Profile to other users
HOW DOES A TINDER SHADOWBAN WORK?
Tinder doesn’t alert you when you’ve become shadowbanned.
Pretty frustrating isn’t it?
Down below we go over some of the signs to look out for.
Look for these symptoms to determine if you’re shadowbanned.
TINDER SHADOWBAN LENGTH
The shadowban lasts forever, pretty much the only way to get unbanned is to make a new profile.
It’s an annoyance, but at least you have a 2nd chance on Tinder.

HOW TO TEST FOR TINDER SHADOWBAN
Look for the following symptoms down below
LESS MATCHES
You might be getting less matches (Very few if any) then before getting shadowbanned.
You went from a couple matches a day to only 1 or 2 a week.
NO RESPONSES FROM MATCHES
You send messages to matches but never get a response back from them.
In the past you got responses & could get Snapchats or Numbers.
SOMETHING WENT WRONG. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.
You get the something went wrong error on the app.
You get it so often, its difficult to swipe on the app
INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR WARNING
You get this message on the app. You may have violated one of the following rules of Tinder.
- Nudity/Sexual Content
- Harassment
- Violence and Physical Harm
- Hate Speech
- Private Information
- Spam
- Promotion or Solicitation
- Prostitution and Trafficking
- Scamming
- Impersonation
- Minors
- Copyright and Trademark Infringement
- Illegal Usage
- One Person, One Account
- Third Party Apps
- Account Dormancy
NO GIRLS IN YOUR RADIUS
The app isn’t showing you anyone, even though there are plenty of girls around.
You live in a large urban area but somehow none are showing.
NO LIKES
No girls are liking your profile, which leads you to getting no matches.
The like counter hasn’t changed in forever.
WHY DOES TINDER SHADOWBAN
Tinder shadowbans for two main reasons.
CONTINUAL RESET OF PROFILE
You shouldn’t be resetting your Tinder profile on a weekly or even monthly basis.
Along with constant resets, if you aren’t careful Tinder will catch on.
This is going to lead you to getting shadowbanned.
INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR
Tinder will sometimes warn you about your behavior on the app.
If you keep on violating the rules, you will either have your profile banned or shadowbanned.
HOW TO REMOVE TINDER SHADOWBAN
To remove a shadowban, you need to reset your profile.
Resetting a profile is easy if you follow the steps down below.
NEW PHONE NUMBER OR FACEBOOK
When making a new profile, make sure to set it up with a new phone number or Facebook account.
NEW GOOGLE PLAY IF USED PAID FEATURES
If you purchased Gold or Plus on your account, you need to setup a new Google Play Profile.
Make sure to do this before downloading the app once again.
TOTAL BAN VS SHADOWBAN
A total ban (40303 Error) will not allow you to log into the account or use any of Tinder’s features.
A shadowban, you can still use your account, see your matches, and swipe.
SHADOWBAN REMOVAL PROMOTION

NEW ACCOUNT BOOST VS SHADOWBAN
When you first set up a Tinder account, you are going to get a boost.
You’ll get a lot more matches, likes, and messages will be flowing.
This will stop.
You didn’t get shadowbanned, it’s how Tinder works.
If your profile is average to below average, you rarely show up.
So you need to improve your profile so you are in the top 1%

Go from a few matches to 5+ a day.
WHY ARE NO MORE PROFILES SHOWN
There are a few reasons on why no profiles are showing.
- Swipe Radius is small
- Age Range is small
- Live in a small town
While you can’t control if you live in a small town, you can expand your age selection and swipe radius.
Aim for 35+ miles and an age range of +- 5 years.
WHY SHE ISN’T RESPONDING
There could be a few reasons why she isn’t responding to your messages.
- You are sending copy-paste lines from reddit
- “Hi”
- Your messages are boring
- You ask her a ton of questions
- Over Sexual Right Away

Unless you know you did something wrong, the issue is with your profile or messaging.
Chances are you have an average to below average profile
It isn’t shown to a ton of girls, and you rarely get right swipes.
The girls that swipe on you, swipe right on a ton of guys.
They get flooded with messages.
Since you sent a generic message, you aren’t getting a response.
